3 How the App Works

The New Catholic Hymnal is a fully offline application. All 798 hymns from the New Catholic Hymnal 2021 Edition are bundled within the app and stored locally on your device.

The App requires no internet connection to function and makes no network requests of any kind during normal use.

The App uses your device's local storage solely to save your favourite hymns preferences. This data:

• Is stored only on your device
• Is never transmitted to any server
• Is never shared with any third party
• Can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the App

5 Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party services, including:

• No advertising networks
• No analytics platforms (e.g. Firebase, Google Analytics)
• No social media SDKs
• No crash reporting tools
• No payment processors

6 Permissions

The App requests no special device permissions. It does not ask for access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any other sensitive device feature.

7 Children's Privacy

The New Catholic Hymnal is suitable for users of all ages. Since the App collects no personal data from anyone, it is fully compliant with children's privacy regulations including COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).
