To change an email password from cPanel, follow these steps:

Method 1: Using cPanel Email Accounts

  1. Login to cPanel
    • Go to: yourdomain.com/cpanel
    • Enter your cPanel username and password
  2. Navigate to Email Accounts
    • Locate the “Email Accounts” option in the Email section
  3. Find the Email Account
    • Scroll down to the list of existing email accounts
    • Click “Manage” next to the email account you want to update
  4. Change Password
    • Under Security, enter the new password
    • You can use “Generate” to create a strong password
  5. Save Changes
    • Click “Update Email Settings”

Method 2: Using Webmail (Roundcube)

If you have access to Webmail, you can change the password without logging into cPanel:

  1. Go to yourdomain.com/webmail
  2. Log in with your email credentials
  3. Click your email address at the top right
  4. Select “Password & Security”
  5. Enter a new password and save changes

After updating the password, ensure that you update it in your email clients (Outlook, Thunderbird, phone, etc.) to continue receiving emails.
