How To setup Webmail on Outlook

Your domain name must have been registered and your email account created before you can set up an email account on Outlook. Please click here to register a domain name and here to follow the guide to creating an domain-based email account

Once this has been done, follow the steps below to set up an email account on Outlook

  • Open Outlook and click on File in the top left corner.
  • Click on Add Account
  • Select Automatic Setup and then click Next
  • Enter your email address and password
  • Click Connect

If Outlook is able to connect to your email server, it will automatically set up your account and take you to the next screen. If Outlook is not able to connect to your email server, it will prompt you to enter your account information manually.

In the manual setup screen, enter the following information:

Your name: enter the name you want to be displayed on your email
Email address: enter your full email address
Account Type: Choose IMAP or POP3
Incoming mail server: enter the incoming mail server provided in cPanel
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): enter the outgoing mail server provided in cPanel
User Name: enter your full email address
Password: enter your email password
Click on More settings

In the Outgoing server tab, check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
In the Advanced tab, set the incoming and outgoing port numbers provided in cPanel

Non-SSL Settings:
POP3: Incoming server port: 110 Outgoing Server(SMTP): 25 or 26 or 587
IMAP: Incoming server port: 143 Outgoing Server(SMTP): 25 or 26 or 587

SSL Settings:
POP3: Incoming server port: 995 Outgoing Server(SMTP): 465
IMAP: Incoming server port: 993 Outgoing Server(SMTP): 465

Click OK and then Next
Click on Finish to complete the setup process
Click Close and start using your webmail on Outlook.

The steps may vary depending on your version of Outlook and the webmail service you are using. Be sure to refer to the webmail service’s documentation for specific instructions.
